THE WATAHBOY

ABOUT ME

I’m LEWA, also known as The Watahboy. I was born and raised on the small island of Moloka‘i, where music was always a part of everyday life. Still, finding my own voice didn’t come easy. I spent years trying, failing, and starting over—driven by nothing but a dream and the belief that I could become the artist I always imagined.

High Watah gave me opportunities, memories, and a place to grow, but deep down I always knew I was chasing something more personal. I’ve always imagined seeing my name LEWA in lights, standing behind the music that truly feels like me. So I took the leap and stepped into my solo journey.

My sound is a mix of everything that shaped me—reggae roots, R&B emotion, and the kind of pop melodies that stay with you long after the song ends. More than anything, I want people to feel something when they listen. Whether it’s joy, heartbreak, hype, or nostalgia… if the music means something to you, then I did my job.

Don’t count me out
